Installation and Use Notes
Electrical Protection: A professional 3-phase control panel equipped with thermal overload protection and single-phasing/imbalance monitoring is mandatory. Calibrate the overload relay precisely to the motor’s Full Load Amperage (FLA) to prevent damage.
Cooling Requirement: Ensure a minimum flow velocity of 0.08 m/s past the motor casing. If the borehole diameter is significantly larger than the 4-inch motor, a flow induction shroud is recommended to ensure adequate heat dissipation.
Handling: Use only the lifting eyes provided on the motor head for installation. Never support the motor or pump assembly by the power cable.
Cable Connection: This unit is designed for reliable performance with standard submersible flat cable. Ensure all splices are made using a professional-grade, resin-encapsulated submersible kit.
