Installation and Use Notes
Electrical Protection: A professional 3-phase control panel with thermal overload protection and single-phasing/imbalance monitoring is mandatory. Calibrate the relay precisely to the motor’s Full Load Amperage (FLA).
Cooling Requirement: A minimum flow velocity of 0.08 m/s past the motor casing is necessary. In larger boreholes, a flow induction shroud is required to ensure forced water circulation for heat dissipation.
Handling: Use the motor’s dedicated lifting eyes during installation. Never support the pump-motor assembly by the power cable, as this can breach the seal.
Cable Connection: All cable splices must be completed using a professional-grade, resin-encapsulated submersible kit to maintain the IP 68 rating.
