Bearing System: Heavy-duty, self-aligning axial thrust bearings, specifically engineered to support the substantial down-thrust loads of 25 HP multi-stage pump stacks.
Sand Protection: Integrated V-CI (V-Type Sand Shield) system, designed to deflect abrasives and protect mechanical seals in sediment-prone borehole conditions.
Key Features
Durable Cast Iron Construction: The robust CI housing provides exceptional structural stability and resistance to external physical stress in demanding, deep-well borehole environments.
V-Type Sand Shield (V-CI): This specialized shield prevents sand and silt buildup around the seal area, ensuring long-term reliability even in challenging, abrasive water conditions.
Efficient Cooling: The thermal properties of the cast iron housing, combined with an optimized liquid-filled design, facilitate excellent heat dissipation during continuous, heavy-duty operation.
Standardized Interface: Features a precise, NEMA-compliant mounting surface for secure, leak-free integration with compatible 6-inch high-performance pump ends.
Installation and Use Notes
Corrosion Protection: While the CI housing features a protective epoxy coating, it is best suited for borehole environments with compatible water chemistry. In highly acidic or extremely saline conditions, a stainless steel (SS) variant is suggested.
Electrical Protection: A professional 3-phase control panel with Star-Delta or Soft Starter is mandatory for a 25 HP motor to manage high starting current and torque. Thermal overload and phase-imbalance protection relays must be strictly calibrated.
Cooling and Flow: A minimum flow velocity of 0.15 m/s past the motor casing is necessary to ensure cooling. If the borehole diameter is significantly larger than the motor, a flow induction shroud is required to maintain adequate water circulation.
Handling & Safety: Use professional crane or mechanical lifting equipment at the designated lifting eyes. Secure the motor lead cable to the column pipe every 3 meters to prevent abrasion against the borehole wall.
