Specifications
Motor Diameter: 6 Inches (Standard NEMA mounting)
Voltage: 380-415 V / 50 Hz
Insulation Class: Class F (Engineered for high-thermal stability under continuous industrial load)
Protection Rating: IP 68 (Full submersible protection)
Housing Material: Industrial-Grade Cast Iron (CI) with epoxy anti-corrosive finish
Shaft Material: High-strength hardened stainless steel
Bearing System: Extra-heavy-duty, self-aligning Kingsbury-type axial thrust bearings designed to sustain the extreme down-thrust generated by large-scale 30 HP pump assemblies.
Sand Protection: Integrated V-CI (V-Type Sand Shield) system, engineered to deflect abrasive particles and provide a robust barrier for the mechanical seal assembly.
Key Features
Industrial-Duty Durability: The massive cast iron housing offers superior structural rigidity and vibration dampening, ideal for high-capacity, long-term pumping operations.
Advanced Sand Management (V-CI): This specialized shield prevents sediment buildup around the motor-pump interface, significantly reducing seal wear in silt-heavy, deep-well environments.
Thermal Efficiency: The cast iron body provides excellent natural heat sink properties, which are optimized by the liquid-filled design to maintain peak performance during 30 HP operation.
Reliable Performance: Engineered to provide consistent, high-torque output required for municipal or large-scale agricultural water extraction.
Installation and Use Notes
Corrosion Protection: While the epoxy-coated CI housing is highly durable, it is intended for water chemistries compatible with iron. In corrosive (acidic/saline) conditions, please select the Stainless Steel (V-SS) variant.
Electrical Protection: A professional 3-phase control panel with Star-Delta or Soft Starter is mandatory for this 30 HP unit to safely manage high startup current. Thermal overload and phase-imbalance relays must be calibrated to the unit's rated Full Load Amperage (FLA).
Cooling and Flow: A minimum flow velocity of 0.15 m/s past the motor casing is critical for heat dissipation. If the borehole diameter is significantly larger than the motor, a flow induction shroud is strictly required to ensure consistent water movement.
Handling & Safety: Use professional crane or mechanical lifting equipment at the designated lifting eyes. Secure the motor lead cable to the column pipe every 3 meters to prevent cable damage and borehole wall abrasion.
