Key Features
Industrial-Grade Build: The cast iron construction provides superior vibration damping and structural rigidity, making it ideal for municipal or commercial pumping applications.
Efficient Thermal Management: The high thermal mass of the cast iron housing ensures effective heat dissipation, maintaining stable internal temperatures during operation.
Reliability: Engineered for continuous, heavy-duty service cycles common in deep-borehole water extraction.
Compatibility: Standardized NEMA interface ensures easy pairing with 6-inch pump ends.
Installation and Use Notes
Electrical Protection: A professional 3-phase control panel equipped with thermal overload protection and single-phasing/imbalance monitoring is mandatory to protect the motor windings. Calibrate the relay to the motor's specific Full Load Amperage (FLA).
Cooling Requirements: A minimum flow velocity of 0.15 m/s past the motor casing is required. In larger boreholes, a flow induction shroud is necessary to force adequate water movement for cooling.
Handling: Use the motor’s heavy-duty lifting eyes for installation; never lift or suspend the motor by the power cable, as this will damage the seal and void the warranty.
Cable Splicing: Connections must be made using a professional-grade, resin-encapsulated submersible splice kit to ensure total protection against water ingress.
