Key Applications
Domestic & Residential Water Systems: Reliable for homes, apartment blocks, and small compounds requiring higher flow volumes than standard 3m³/h models.
Agricultural Irrigation: Well-suited for drip irrigation systems, orchard watering, and small-to-medium field crop requirements.
Pressure Boosting: Excellent as a primary pump for supplying constant pressure to irrigation manifolds or distribution headers.
Livestock Water Systems: Ideal for providing consistent water supply to farm animal troughs and high-demand livestock pens.
Installation and Use Notes
Piping: Use 1-1/2 inch HDPE or GI column piping. The larger outlet size is designed to handle the 5 m³/h flow effectively, reducing fluid friction and energy waste.
Electrical Protection: Use a dedicated control box with thermal overload protection and appropriate capacitor sizing (if single-phase). This ensures the 1.5 HP motor operates within its safe thermal limits.
System Monitoring: Installation of a dry-run protection system (float switch or sensor) is highly recommended. Given the 5 m³/h throughput, maintaining a constant water supply is vital to prevent overheating.
Installation Requirements: Secure the pump with a high-strength safety cable. Never use the power lead for suspension. Ensure that the borehole diameter is clean and free of debris to prevent clogging of the intake screen.
