Key Features
Premium Stainless Steel Build: The complete V-SSSM stainless steel shell provides exceptional rust, scale, and acid resistance, making it highly durable in varying deep-well water qualities.
Rewindable Oil-Filled Design: The oil-filled stator winding allows for straightforward servicing, maintenance, and long-term cost efficiency, while providing superior internal lubrication.
Advanced Sand Protection: Equipped with a mechanical sand slinger and reinforced lip seals to prevent borehole abrasives and sediment from penetrating internal motor components.
Universal Compatibility: Built strictly to standardized 4" NEMA interface dimensions to guarantee effortless coupling with any major 4-inch submersible pump end (wet end).
Installation and Use Notes
Electrical Protection: A dedicated single-phase control box equipped with correctly rated starting/running capacitors and a thermal overload reset switch is mandatory. Ensure the control unit matches the motor’s specific Full Load Amperage (FLA) to prevent winding burnouts.
Cooling Requirements: Ensure the motor is positioned above the well screen so that water naturally draws past the stainless steel casing at a minimum velocity of 0.15 m/s for effective heat dissipation.
Handling: Always lift and lower the motor utilizing the proper chassis mounting points or secure pump clamps. Never lift, lower, or suspend the motor by its electrical drop cable, as this will rupture the watertight seal assembly.
Cable Splicing: Waterproof joints must be executed utilizing a professional-grade, heat-shrink or resin-filled submersible cable splice kit to ensure total protection against water ingress over prolonged high-pressure submersion.
