Installation and Use Notes
Electrical Protection: A professional 3-phase control panel equipped with thermal overload protection and phase imbalance monitoring is strictly required to prevent winding damage. Calibrate the overload relay precisely to the motor’s Full Load Amperage (FLA).
Cooling Requirements: Maintaining a minimum flow velocity of 0.08 m/s past the motor casing is necessary to prevent overheating. In cases where the borehole is significantly larger than the motor, a flow induction shroud is required.
Handling: Always use the motor’s integrated lifting eyes during installation. Never support the pump or motor weight by the power cable, as this can breach the cable seal and lead to electrical failure.
Cable Splicing: Use only professional-grade, resin-encapsulated submersible splice kits to ensure a fully watertight connection for the power leads.
