Key Features
Single-Phase Compatibility: Specifically engineered for residential or small-scale applications where 3-phase power is unavailable.
Oil-Filled Reliability: The oil-filled architecture provides consistent lubrication for all internal bearings, reducing friction and extending the service life of the motor.
Thermal Management: Built-in pressure-equalizing rubber diaphragm compensates for oil thermal expansion during operation, preventing housing strain.
Sealing Integrity: High-performance mechanical seal assembly prevents water ingress and maintains the purity of the internal oil.
Installation and Use Notes
Control Requirement: This 1-phase motor requires a dedicated Control Box (containing a starting capacitor, running capacitor, and potential relay) to provide the necessary torque for startup and continuous operation.
Electrical Protection: Ensure the control box is equipped with thermal overload protection. Calibrate the protection according to the motor's specific Full Load Amperage (FLA) to prevent winding damage.
Cooling Requirement: A minimum flow velocity of 0.08 m/s past the motor casing is necessary. If the borehole diameter is large, a flow induction shroud must be used to ensure adequate water circulation.
Handling: Use only the lifting eyes for installation. Never support the weight of the motor by the power cable, as this can damage the cable seal and lead to water entry.
