Installation and Use Notes
Electrical Protection: A professional 3-phase control panel with Star-Delta or Soft Starter is strictly required to manage starting current and protect the motor. Ensure all thermal overload and phase-imbalance relays are calibrated precisely to the motor’s Full Load Amperage (FLA).
Cooling and Flow: A minimum flow velocity of 0.15 m/s past the motor casing is mandatory for effective heat transfer. In large-diameter boreholes, a flow induction shroud must be used to ensure water circulation.
Handling & Safety: Given the 50 HP weight class, use professional hoisting equipment and the motor’s designated lifting eyes. Always secure power leads to the column pipe every 2–3 meters to prevent cable snagging or abrasion.
