Bearing System: Industrial-grade axial and radial thrust bearings, designed to handle the load profiles of 7.5 HP multi-stage pump ends.
Sand Protection: Integrated V-SS (V-Type Sand Shield) system, designed to deflect abrasive particles and protect the mechanical seals in sediment-prone borehole conditions.
Key Features
Superior Corrosion Resistance: The full stainless steel (SS) body ensures long-term durability, even in wells with varying or aggressive water chemistries.
Advanced Sand Defense: The "V-SS" configuration provides a robust barrier that prevents sediment buildup around the shaft seal, essential for extending the life of the motor in sandy environments.
Efficient Cooling: The liquid-filled design, combined with the high-grade stainless steel casing, facilitates effective heat transfer for consistent performance during operation.
NEMA Standardized: Features a standardized mounting interface for a precise, leak-free, and reliable coupling with compatible 6-inch pump ends.
Installation and Use Notes
Sand Shield Maintenance: During routine servicing, ensure the V-SS shield area is clear of any debris to maintain its integrity as the primary abrasive barrier.
Electrical Protection: A professional 3-phase control panel with thermal overload protection and single-phasing/imbalance monitoring is mandatory to prevent motor failure due to electrical irregularities.
Cooling and Flow: A minimum flow velocity of 0.15 m/s past the motor casing is required for adequate cooling. In large-diameter boreholes, a flow induction shroud must be installed to force water movement across the casing.
Handling & Safety: Use only the motor's lifting eye-bolts for installation. Never support the assembly by the power cable. Secure the motor lead to the column pipe at frequent intervals (every 3 meters) to prevent abrasion against the borehole wall.
