Installation and Use
The 4SP8/72 is an ultra-high-performance, 72-stage, heavy-duty pump engineered for the most demanding vertical lift applications. The "6-inch joining" configuration is essential for this model, allowing the high-stage-count 4-inch pump end to be securely coupled with a 6-inch submersible motor, which provides the necessary torque, cooling capacity, and mechanical stability required for a 15HP output at these depths.
Because this unit generates extreme head pressure, it is mandatory to use high-pressure rated column pipes capable of handling the load without bursting or leaking. A professional-grade 3-phase control panel—featuring integrated thermal overload protection, dry-run prevention, and phase-failure detection—is strictly required to prevent motor burnout. Always verify that the pump is installed with sufficient submergence depth. Prior to lowering the unit, ensure all cable splices and electrical connections are treated with professional-grade, waterproof heat-shrink or epoxy kits to prevent short-circuiting in high-pressure environments.
