Installation and Use Notes
Piping: Use 2-inch high-pressure rated HDPE or stainless steel column piping. With a head capacity up to 200 meters, ensuring that the piping and all couplings are rated for high-pressure service is essential to prevent line failure.
Electrical Protection: A professional 3-phase control panel with a Star-Delta or Soft Starter is mandatory. A 10 HP motor operating at these pressures requires precise startup current management to protect the pump stages and the electrical grid.
System Monitoring: Installation of a dry-run protection system (electrode sensors or flow-based switches) is strictly required. Running this unit without water at these pressures will cause immediate and irreparable damage to the mechanical seals and impellers.
Installation Requirements: Use a high-strength, certified safety rope. Due to the weight of the 10 HP assembly and the depths of application, ensure the pump is installed perfectly plumb in the borehole to minimize vibration and side-loading.
